What an incredible honour!
Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to vote for us in the Best of Toti Awards. ❤️ Thank you for trusting us with your children, your families, and your loved ones, and for believing in the work that we do.😊

But this award feels particularly special this year because I’m no longer doing it alone.🥹

This year, my little practice grew from a one-person practice into a team of two, and I could not have wished for a better person to take that step with me!

Jasmika Naidu, you have been such a blessing to this practice. I genuinely couldn't have chosen a better speech therapist to join my team, and I am so grateful to have you alongside me. 💕

Today, I want to honour the women we see every day who are doing so much for their children.

The mom who rushes from work to therapy.

The mom who sits in the waiting room while answering emails.

The mom who practises the sounds, reads the books, models the language and celebrates every tiny step forward.

The mom who advocates fiercely for her child.

We see you. ❤️
We see the effort you put in.
We see how much you care.
We see how hard you are trying.

As speech therapists, we get to witness just how much love, effort and sacrifice so many women pour into their children every single day.

Today, on Women’s Day, I want to remind you that it matters.
You matter.
And even on the days when it feels like you're not doing enough, you are. 💗✨️

Many parents tell me, "I know what they're saying, but nobody else does."

By 4 years old, children should generally be understood by both familiar and unfamiliar listeners. If your child is difficult to understand, leaves out sounds in words, or becomes frustrated when trying to communicate, it may be worth seeking a speech assessment.

Some children need a little extra support to get their speech sounds right, and therapy can make a big difference to their communication skills, confidence, and participation.✨️

"Just wait another year. They'll grow out of it."

This is one of the most common things parents hear when they are concerned about their child's communication development.

While some children do catch up naturally, many do not. Early assessment can help identify whether support is needed and can make a significant difference to a child's communication skills and confidence.

If you have concerns, trust your instincts. Seeking advice doesn't mean something is wrong, it means you're being proactive.

This little superstar joined us late last year with difficulty producing certain speech sounds, and today he officially graduated from speech therapy! 🎓 We are so proud of the hard work he has put in and the wonderful progress he’s made!

A big shout out to our amazing Speech Therapist, Jasmika, and to his family for their support at home, it truly makes all the difference! 🌟 Way to go, little legend! 👏

Two years ago today, I opened the doors to my little practice with a lot of hope, a bit of fear, and no real idea of how the journey would unfold.

Today, I’m feeling incredibly grateful!🥹

Grateful to every family who trusted me.
Grateful to those who supported, referred, encouraged, and cheered me on.
Grateful for the moments that remind me why I chose this path.
