Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery and a multi-billion-Rand criminal industry that denies freedom to many children around the world.

Protecting children from violence, exploitation and sexual abuse is not only a basic human value but also an obligation clearly set out in Section 28 of the South African Constitution.

Fight for the freedom of our children.

A child victim of Human Trafficking is also a victim of extreme child abuse.

You may think that there is nothing you can do as an individual to prevent this from happening to a child within your community - but here are suggestions of what YOU CAN DO:

🩵You CAN start taking action by learning more about the signs and red flags of human trafficking and child abuse.

🩵You CAN start conversations in your family and social groups, raising awareness by sharing what you've learned.

🩵You may never know who needs to hear what you've learned...by talking about crimes against our children you help to break the silence often surrounding these topics.

🩵You CAN be instrumental in creating a safe environment for someone to reach out for help.

Remember:

So proud to have an amazing Life Heroes team. Words can’t describe the journey it’s taken to get here but God has been in every moment. He has added every person to the team and held us through many challenges. It takes sacrifice to build something meaningful and you can’t do it alone! You are only as strong as the team with you and I have been blessed with the BEST! Thank you for all the sacrifices you all make daily to make a difference in children’s lives.
