13 Days Later… and Our Hearts Are Still Full. 💚

Looking back at these moments so beautifully captured by Hunt & Roziers, we’re reminded that our Journey Through Motherhood was never meant to be just another workshop.

It was about building a village. 🤍

A community where mothers can learn, connect, make du’a for one another and build stronger foundations for the children we are raising. We may not know what trials our children will face tomorrow, but together, we can better equip ourselves to guide them through it.

To every woman who showed up, opened her heart, shared, laughed, reflected and connected with us — Jazakum Allahu Khayran. You became part of something we hope will extend far beyond that day. 🌿

"They say life is a journey..."

Nobody tells you that sometimes the journey looks like crying in your room at 11h30pm while eating cold leftovers and wondering whose idea this business thing was anyway. 😂

Our journey started in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic... because apparently we enjoy a challenge.

We opened a beautiful herbs and spices shop in Strand with one simple belief:
Food can be medicine.

Then herbs became teas...
Teas became capsules...
And before we knew it, we were developing products we once only dreamed about.

But the road? Yoh... the road had other plans.

📍 Loadshedding arrived... and so did someone who convinced us we needed "independent electricity." Turns out we'd signed a two-year contract for... a car battery with a few wires. 😭😂

📍 Then came a lawyer's letter because apparently someone "owns" the word Soulful.

📍 Customs decided our stock deserved an extended holiday while our customers waited.

📍 We swapped secure university careers as senior lecturers and programme coordinators for a bank balance that occasionally looked at us and said, "May Allah make ease." 🤲😂

📍 And don't even get us started on product photos, websites, labels, registrations, packaging, compliance... and the 873rd version of the same image because one shadow wasn't quite right.

Behind every product launch...
There were sleepless nights.

Behind every smiling photo...
There were tears.

Behind every obstacle...
There was another du'a.

And behind every victory...
There were parents, family, friends, customers and complete strangers who reminded us not to give up.

People often see the finished product.

They don't see the fear before launching...
The disappointment when things go wrong...
The prayers whispered in sujood...
Or the countless times you have to choose faith over fear.

Looking back, we wouldn't change the journey.

Because every setback taught us something no textbook ever could.

So if you're building something...
