Honour the woman you are. 🧡

Today, on National Women’s Day, I’m celebrating women in all the seasons and chapters of their lives.

The woman who is finding herself again.
The woman navigating fertility.
The woman carrying the weight of loss.
The woman becoming a mother.
The woman learning to trust her body.
The woman rebuilding her relationship with herself.
The woman who is tired of having to be strong all the time.
The woman who is simply figuring it all out.

There is no one way to be a woman. 🌹

You don’t have to have everything figured out.
You don’t have to be everything to everyone.
You don’t have to earn your worth.🩷

Honour the woman you are - today, and every day! 🌱

Here’s to creating more spaces where women feel safe, seen, heard and supported. 🧡

Happy National Women’s Day, South Africa. 🇿🇦

What is "The Hell Inside Our Heads" all about?
Born with a congenital aortic valve defect, Brandon Fairweather was always destined for open-heart surgery but never expected to need it at just 28 years of age.

He shares his encounters with gripping spells of physiological and medical-related anxiety on his journey to, and beyond, the life-changing surgery.

After years of struggle and determined to no longer let the crippling disorder rule his life, he resolved to document the process as a form of therapy, but also in the hope that it might help others battling similar mental turmoil.

“You’re too young to have fertility problems.”

Those words are something I heard… but they weren’t true for me.

Fertility challenges don’t always look the way we expect. They don’t only affect women in their late 30s or 40s. Sometimes they begin much earlier, and when they do, it can feel incredibly isolating.

My journey taught me that every woman’s story is different. We need to stop dismissing concerns based on age and start listening to women when they tell us something doesn’t feel right.

If this is your story too, please know you’re not alone. Your experience is valid, and your hope matters. 🧡

Today’s reminder…

Healing creates space for hope to grow. 🧡

When we’re constantly living in stress, fear, or uncertainty, it’s difficult for hope to find room.

Healing doesn’t mean everything has to be “fixed.” It means gently supporting your body, calming your mind, and reconnecting with yourself—one step at a time.

If you’re on a fertility journey, know this:
You are more than a diagnosis.
More than a timeline.
More than the waiting.

Keep making space for healing. Hope has a way of growing there. 🌿

🧡 Save this for the days you need the reminder.

Fertility Myth: “I’m young, so fertility won’t be a problem.”

The truth is that fertility challenges can affect people in their 20s, 30s and beyond. Age is one factor, but it’s not the only one.

Conditions such as endometriosis, PMOS, thyroid disorders, male factor infertility, and unexplained infertility can affect fertility regardless of age.

If you’re trying to conceive and have concerns, you don’t have to wait until things feel overwhelming to seek support.

Reflexology may provide supportive care by helping to reduce stress and promote overall wellbeing alongside your medical care. It is not a treatment or cure for infertility, but many women find it a valuable part of their holistic fertility journey. 🧡

Have you heard this myth before?

The Theory of Reflexology 👣

Have you ever wondered why reflexologists spend so much time working on the feet?

Reflexology is based on the theory that specific areas of the feet correspond with different organs, glands and systems throughout the body. By applying gentle pressure to these reflex points, we aim to encourage deep relaxation, support the nervous system and promote your body’s natural ability to restore balance.

While reflexology doesn’t diagnose, treat or cure medical conditions, many people find it a valuable way to reduce stress, improve their sense of wellbeing and create space for healing.

For me, reflexology is about so much more than feet, it’s about caring for the whole woman.

✨ Supporting women through stress, hormonal changes, fertility journeys and everyday wellbeing.

Have you ever experienced reflexology? I’d love to hear about your experience in the comments.

✨ A regular period doesn’t always mean you’re ovulating.

This is one of the biggest misconceptions in fertility.

Your menstrual cycle can appear predictable every month, but ovulation - the release of an egg - is what makes pregnancy possible. In some cycles, your body may bleed without releasing an egg at all.

Understanding your cycle is about so much more than counting days. It’s about learning the language of your body and recognising the signs that matter.

Knowledge doesn’t create fear, it creates empowerment. 🌿

If you’re trying to conceive, struggling with irregular cycles, or simply want to understand your body better, cycle awareness is one of the most valuable places to begin.

🧡 Your body is always communicating. The question is… are you listening?

Connection in conception. 🤍

Trying to conceive can sometimes make intimacy feel like another item on the to-do list. Timed in*******se, appointments, tracking cycles… it can all create so much pressure.

But your relationship deserves moments of connection beyond the calendar.

Pleasure isn’t selfish.
Connection isn’t a distraction.
They’re part of nurturing your mind, body, and relationship through this journey.

As a fertility focused reflexologist and s*xual health educator, I’m passionate about helping women reconnect with their bodies, their partners, and themselves, because fertility care is about so much more than ovulation.

✨ Pleasure, even when there is pressure.

Stress doesn’t just affect your mind… it affects your body too. 🤍

When you’re living in a constant state of stress, your nervous system shifts into survival mode. In that state, your body naturally prioritises keeping you safe over functions like libido, ovulation, and reproduction.

If you’ve noticed your desire has disappeared, you’re not broken, and you’re certainly not alone.

Supporting your nervous system, creating moments of rest, and caring for your body can be an important part of restoring both intimacy and fertility.

✨ Healing isn’t about forcing your body to do more.
It’s about helping it feel safe enough to do what it was designed to do.

At Be Well Today, I support women through holistic fertility care, reflexology, and nervous system regulation, because fertility is about so much more than hormones alone.

There was a time when I felt lost.

After experiencing miscarriage and walking through the uncertainty of unexplained infertility, I longed for someone who truly understood, not just the medical side, but the emotional, physical, and deeply personal journey.

That experience changed me.

It became the reason I created Be Well Today, a space where women don’t have to carry the weight of infertility alone.

A place where your story is heard.
Where your body is treated with compassion.
Where healing is about supporting your whole self, mind, body, and s*x life.

I know there are no guarantees on the fertility journey, but I do believe that every woman deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported while she walks it.

If you’re navigating fertility challenges, miscarriage, IVF, or simply trying to conceive, know this:

🤍 You are not broken.
🤍 You are not alone.
🤍 You deserve support that honours both your body and your heart.

I’m here to walk alongside you.
