Did you know?

A baby may spend 1000–1500 hours feeding during their first year of life. That’s thousands of opportunities for growth, bonding, and development.

Because feeding happens so often, comfort matters - for both baby and parent. Good positioning and alignment can help support a more comfortable feeding experience, while allowing both mom and baby to relax and connect.

A well-functioning nervous system plays an important role in coordinating the complex movements needed for feeding, including sucking, swallowing, breathing, and maintaining posture. When baby is comfortable and feeding efficiently, it can make these many hours more enjoyable for the whole family.

PCA chiropractors take a gentle, individualised approach to assessing movement, posture, and nervous system function, supporting families as they navigate their feeding journey alongside their healthcare team.

Every feed is more than nourishment, it’s an opportunity to nurture connection, development, and well-being.
