Ons is ongelooflik trots op Dr Lynette Venter, wat die eerste CAIRS-oogoperasie (Corneal Allogenic Intrastromal Ring Segments) in die Vrystaat uitgevoer het – ’n baanbrekende stap in die behandeling van keratokonus! 🏥

CAIRS is ’n gevorderde chirurgiese tegniek waar natuurlike weefsel gebruik word om die kornea te versterk en te stabiliseer – ’n groot verbetering op tradisionele ring-implantings. Dit gee pasiënte nuwe hoop vir beter sig sonder onmiddellike korneaoorplanting.
