Question: Will I need glasses after cataract surgery?
Answer: It depends.
Some clients enjoy clear vision (near and far) without glasses. It depends on critical decisions made when you consult your eye doctor.
Read more:

While standard mono-focal lenses may require you to wear glasses for tasks like reading, advanced options such as multifocal or toric lenses are designed to reduce o...

What a privilege to have helped Rilee Rossouw, one of South Africa's and the Proteas' top cricket players, get rid of his contact lenses and glasses (through LASIK).

In Rilee's own words: "I have never had such great vision or seen things so clearly without my contact lenses. I should have done Lasik years ago!"

Within a few days, Rilee was back on the cricket field with perfect vision and without any contact lenses, pain or discomfort.

We wish Rilee all the best in his future cricket career and with the upcoming tournament in the USA as well as the World Cup tournament in September.

Go and make us proud!

Retina surgery is like “Laproscopic Eye Surgery”
There are three ports inserted in the eye.
1: Infusion port
2: light source
3:Cutter
Retina surgery is done by a Retina Surgeon for eye conditions like:

Retina detachment repair
Macular hole repair
Vitreous hemorrhage
Vitreo-macular traction removal
Epiretinal membrane removal

The patient might have the following symptoms:
Decrease in vision, floaters and/or light flashes.

After the vitreous gell was removed from the eye, the surgeon places gas or oil in the eye.
The ports are self sealing and there are no need for sutures.
With modern technology, Retina Surgery is almost painless and a verry effective prosedure that heals quickly.
Often the last option to restore a patient’s sight again.
