Jayne Broderick Physiotherapy

Jayne is a well qualified physiotherapist with 13 years experience. She has a one year post graduate diploma in Orthopaedic Physiotherapy and is a BASI matwork Pilates instructor. She has a special interest in orthopaedics, sports injuries and rehabilitation. She is generally very active and enjoys Yoga, triathlon and mountain biking. This combined with her Pilates training makes her skilled at re

habilitation. Jayne received her BSc Physiotherapy at Stellenbosch University. She was part of the Stellenbosch university team that won the annual intervarsity strapping competition. After taking a few months off to focus on her Lifesaving; to compete for Team South Africa at World Games 2009; Jayne completed her community service at Pietermaritzburg Assessment and Therapy Centre. Jayne then moved to Johannesburg, where she worked in private practice while completing her Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy 1 (OMT 1). She returned to the Cape in 2011, as the environment is much better suited to her active lifestyle. She has worked in the Southern Suburbs and Cape Town at well-respected orthopaedic and sports practices. She moved to the Helderberg in 2019 after the birth of her son and joined Caryn Adam Physiotherapy in May 2019. She opened her own practice in November 2021 after the arrival of her second son. Being an avid endurance athlete as well as a qualified triathlon coach, Jayne enjoys treating sports injuries and understands the importance of sports specific rehabilitation. She is a qualified Pilates instructor and finds that this complements her rehabilitation based approach to treatment. She teaches weekly classes at Life Retreat Yoga Studio at Lourensford Wine Estate. She offers Shockwave Therapy and is able to do dry needling. The practice is conveniently situated near a large parking lot and various GPs practices. Claims can be submitted to medical aids or else settled via card or Snapscan.
