This June, we once again welcome Men’s Health Month 🍎.

This year’s theme, “Partners in Care: Advancing Men’s Health Through Connection, Education, & Advocacy Across the Lifespan — for Better Lifespans”, acts as a building block adding onto previous year’s themes by translating empathy into impact through collaborative care.

Men’s Health Month 2026 highlights:

🔹 Lifelong Education: Meeting men and boys at every stage.
🔹 Connected Health: Starting with one relationship, transforming the community.

With just 4 years left until 2030, the world is far off track from achieving the global goals for health and gender equality. The impact of these gaps is significant: daily, over 700 women face fatal, preventable complications during pregnancy and childbirth.

We are living through a global polycrisis; climate disasters, economic strain, and conflict are draining under-resourced health systems.

Sexual and reproductive health rights are non-negotiable. Today, on International Day of Action for Women’s Health, we reflect that it’s time to invest in people-centered, healthcare that protects everyone, everywhere. 🌍

Once a year World TB day comes around, but the TB epidemic continues to be an important topic every day! ✊

For 2026, the TB day theme is Yes! We can end TB: Led by countries, powered by people; and we want to encourage YOU, the people, to do your part in TB prevention! 🤝🤝

Get regularly screened, practice safe hygiene habits and continue to stay educated on the disease that remains the leading cause of mortality by a single infectious agent 📖🧫.

Loneliness is a serious problem... and for people with Down Syndrome, loneliness is more common and painful 👐🏼.

This year, for World Down Syndrome Day, we at A-Plus are encouraging everyone to stand 💛💙.
This is not only important for people with Down Syndrome, but also their families who may be lacking support from community, friends and family 👩‍👩‍👧‍👧.

Importantly, loneliness is not a choice; it happens when there is no support for people to forge and maintain connections with other people.
Often, people with Down Syndrome can be in a crowd but still feel lonely, due to not being included by others.
Being present is not the same as being included 🌈.

Let us all stand together against loneliness and practice kindness towards others! 🌍👩🏼‍🤝‍👨🏽.
