Jackie Preston, daughter of Terrill and Brenda Preston (PV903), and David Wallace of Pinewood Village, Pinelands, were married on 28 February 2026 at Pinelands Methodist Church.

The happy couple chose the Michelin Star Restaurant and the beautiful gardens at Oasis for their wedding photographs and wedding dinner.

Edelweiss – A Sound of Music Themed Dinner Evening

Residents and guests of Oasis were transported to the rolling hills of Austria during a delightful Edelweiss – The Sound of Music themed dinner evening, filled with all of their favourite things - good food, wonderful entertainment, and cherished memories.

The venue was beautifully styled to reflect the spirit of the much-loved musical, creating a welcoming and nostalgic atmosphere.

Entertainment by the ‘Dazzling Divas’ was the highlight of the night, featuring familiar songs from The Sound of Music that sparked smiles, gentle sing-alongs, and heartfelt applause. The performance brought back fond memories for many, filling the room with warmth, laughter, and a shared sense of joy. It was a pleasure to see residents tapping their feet, humming along, and fully embracing the moment.

The night will be fondly remembered as another special occasion that brought the Oasis community together in song, spirit, and celebration.

Residents can look forward to the Oasis Sparks Potsberg outing, a Creative Wellbeing craft activity, exercise and dance classes, a movie afternoon, and a special Saturday sing-along with Justine Watermeyer, the Oasis singing group and dancers.
