In clinical practice, what we repeatedly see is a complex interaction between:

• chronic hyperinsulinaemia
• dysregulated glucose metabolism
• sleep disruption and circadian misalignment
• stress physiology (cortisol–insulin interaction)
• and dietary patterns that amplify postprandial glucose variability

This is why a surface-level approach often fails long term.

In our one-on-one work, we use a structured, data-driven model:

• detailed functional intake assessment
• daily lifestyle and symptom tracking
• continuous glucose monitoring where appropriate
• and ongoing clinical interpretation of metabolic patterns

The goal is not just weight reduction — it is metabolic re-patterning.

When patients begin to see their own data in real time, behaviour change becomes far more precise and sustainable.

This is where accountability meets physiology.

✨ In almost every consultation, there’s a moment where everything slows down.

I ask a simple question:
Who were you when you were 10?

And most women go quiet.

Not because they don’t know…
but because that version of them has been buried for years.

Buried under responsibility.
Under expectations.
Under always putting everyone else first.

🧠 You don’t lose yourself suddenly.
It happens slowly, over time.

And what shows up later isn’t just weight gain.

It’s:
• Constant fatigue
• Irritability and overwhelm
• Feeling like everyone depends on you
• But you’re running on empty

🌿 This is disconnection — from yourself, your needs, your rhythm.

And the women who begin to shift this don’t wait for burnout or illness to force change.

They decide something simple but powerful:
If I keep neglecting myself, everything else starts to suffer too.

🔁 So they start with just 3 intentional things a day.

Nothing extreme. Nothing complicated. Just consistent care:
• A short walk
• Tea before it goes cold ☕
• A few quiet minutes of dhikr or reflection 🤍
• Reading a page or two
• Sitting in stillness without guilt

📌 The key is not perfection. It’s consistency. Write it down. Make it visible. Protect it like an appointment.

🌱 Because when you begin to refill your own cup:
Your energy shifts.
Your choices improve.
Your body responds differently.
And slowly… you come back to yourself.

🤍 You haven’t lost who you are.
You’ve just been pulled away from her.

Start finding your way back — one small act at a time.

Liver hack! 🥩

Liver is one of the most nutrient-dense foods on earth—but most families won’t eat it.
The hack is simple: don’t serve it as liver. Build it into a familiar meal.

Ingredients:
1kg beef mince
5 TBS dried onion
2 TBS parsley
2 TBS coriander
1 TBS dried cumin
2 TBS paprika
1 TBS dried crushed chilli
4 organic eggs
2 TBS organic miso
2 TBS Dijon mustard
1 clove garlic (grated)
2 TBS ginger (grated)
Salt to taste
5 TBS mashed cooked liver
½ tsp psyllium husk powder

Method:
Mix well
Press into a flat round casserole dish
Bake at 185°C for 45 minutes

A small amount of liver disappears completely—while the nutrition stays.
That’s the real hack: nutrient density without resistance.

One of the most powerful “superfoods” isn’t expensive or trendy — it’s been there all along. Simple, nutrient-dense, and exactly what many of us (and our kids) are missing.

Steal my clients walking workout program 👇

Do you hate workouts?
Or maybe you don’t know where to start- THAT may be keeping you stuck!

What about walking?

Got a pair of comfy shoes? Well that’s where you start.

It’s not some fantastic crazy exercise that gets you fit- it’s the one you do!

Walking is something most people can do- so take a look at this plan and start today!

Consistent is what matters!

Healthy people are not healthy because of genetics or expensive supplement, a gym membership or fancy equipment.

Healthy people decide that they live by a standard- and then healthy people commit to themselves and stay CONSISTENT.

🚨 Did you know this about your body right now after Ramadaan fasting???!
Ramadan maximally reset your circadian rhythm and ALL systems.

🚨 If you want to do the most- THIS is the time!

What you do after Ramadaan will determine whether those gains stay… or quietly slip.

You didn’t just fast.
Your entire metabolic system reset.

That’s not a small shift.
So let’s protect it.

💡 1. Protect your bedtime
Ramadan aligned your circadian rhythm.
Hold onto that.
Sleep early. Close the kitchen at least 3 hours before bed.
This is where deep sleep happens. This is where hormonal repair begins.

💡 2. Stay comfortable with hunger
You’ve already seen that your body can go without constant eating.
Don’t rush back into grazing.
The Sunnah is to eat enough to sustain, not to fill.
Overeating brings back glucose spikes, inflammation, and fatigue.

💡 3. Plan ahead
You didn’t wing Ramadan. You planned your meals.
Keep that same structure now.
Cook ahead. Store small portions. Remove decision fatigue.
Structure protects consistency.

💡 4. Protect your spiritual gains
What you felt in Ramadan came from connection.
Don’t let that fade.
Keep your adhkaar. Keep your Qur’an. Even if it’s small.
Consistency is what carries barakah forward.
Ramadan was a real reset.
Now it’s about protecting it.

3 questions to ask yourself before the end of Ramadaan.

In life, in my practice, I like to audit. In my practice, I use a version of the Wellness Wheel- it’s a way to really audit whether what you prioritize is truly where you’re spending the most time growing.

Ramadaan is a time to self audit- to really look at what worked well, where we can improve and then to make the life changes to establish those.

This is growth, polishing of the heart, refining the character.

Many think of Ramadaan as a time of abstinence- that is one part, the part that helps the mind, heart and spirit sharpen so that the true inner growth can start to happen.

Ramadaan is a reminder to purify the heart.

For those who have observed the month of Ramadaan - whether you follow the Muslim faith or not, I pray that this journey has been one that has filled your soul.

Ramadaan Kareem
