As our products are naturally fermented, each batch may vary slightly in taste depending on seasonal ingredients and availability.
For example, fresh young ginger has a different flavour profile to mature ginger, which can affect the final taste. The same applies to our apples — we prefer using Top Red apples, but when unavailable, we substitute them with Granny Smith apples.
For our Cherry & Hibiscus variant, we use pitted fresh frozen cherries when in season, and frozen cherry pulp out of season, both of which create slightly different flavour notes. Pineapple varieties also change throughout the year, as Queen pineapples are not available year-round, so we occasionally use Cayenne pineapples instead.
These are just a few examples of how seasonal produce can naturally influence the taste of our fermented beverages.
