Meet Ayabulela 💙or as we all know him as Aya.He came to us “DK2” in a wheelchair. He wasn’t able to walk , speak clearly , eat or use his arms.
It was a tough start in a wheelchair and learning a whole new world around you.
But Aya had one thing no injury could take : DETERMINATION !
What stood out immediately was his hope and determination. He refused to give up, even on the hard days.
As we watched him week by week we saw him get his strength back. Started eating on his own , beginning to speak and then…his first step. Our Physiotherapist remained committed to his progress , encouraging him every step of the way.
Today Aya is able to walk on his own , eat on his own and do everything independently.
We are incredibly proud of how far Aya has come. His journey is a powerful reminder that recovery takes patience , teamwork and determination and sometimes the smallest steps can be the biggest victory 💙👏🏽.
A huge thank you to our Physiotherapy , Speech Therapy , Occupational Therapy and Nursing Teams for playing such an important role in his recovering journey ❤️💪🏽.
