You received a bone-density score.

But did you receive a strategy?

For many people, a diagnosis of osteopenia or osteoporosis is followed by a recommendation to take supplements, walk more and include weight-bearing exercise.

That advice may be helpful, but it does not always answer the questions that follow.

What type of movement is right for your body? Is the load moving through you effectively? Are your hormones, nutrition and recovery supporting your bones’ ability to adapt? Could your movement patterns be placing too much stress on some areas while others are not receiving enough of the signal they need?

Bone health is not only about doing more exercise. It is about understanding the biological and mechanical factors that influence how your bones respond.

Join our free webinar, What If Your Bones Aren’t Getting the Message?, where we will explore how movement, nutrition, hormones, genetics and recovery work together to support stronger bones.

Most people are not short of advice.

Walk more.
Lift weights.
Do weight-bearing exercise.

The harder part is knowing whether that advice is right for the body in front of you.

In my work, I see this all the time. Two people can do the same exercise, but their bodies can receive it very differently.

One person loads well.
Another compensates.
Another avoids the very area that needs the stimulus.
Another cannot recover properly after the load is applied.

That is why I do not believe bone health should be reduced to a generic exercise list.

Bone needs a signal, but the body has to be able to receive it and respond to it.

That is the conversation Amanda Archibald and I will be having in the next My Mobility Code webinar.

You were told to lift weights.
But were you shown how your body carries the load?

A lot of advice around bone health sounds simple. Walk more. Lift weights. Do weight-bearing exercise.

That may help, but it is rarely the whole picture.

What matters is not just that you are loading the body, but how that load moves through you. Are you compensating? Are certain areas doing all the work while others are not receiving the signal they need?

Bone health is not only about exercise. It is also about whether the body can recover, repair and adapt after the load is applied.

That is why alignment, movement patterns and your internal biology all matter.

If this is something you have been thinking about, this webinar looks like a really valuable conversation.

Bone is living, responsive tissue. It is constantly receiving information about whether to maintain, repair or rebuild.

Movement is part of that message, but the body must also be able to respond to it.

Food, hormones, inflammation, recovery, DNA and the way your body receives force all influence what happens after the signal arrives.

That is why stronger bones require more than simply doing more exercise. They need the right biological signals and the right movement load.

In our next My Mobility Code webinar, (Darryl Frerk) and (Amanda Archibald) will explore why bone health needs both the movement lens and the biology lens.

What if the problem is not that you are not trying hard enough?

Many active adults are already doing the work.

They are training.
They are seeing a PT, physio, biokineticist or specialist.
They are doing the exercises they were given.
They are trying to stay strong, capable and independent.

But the same issues keep coming back.

Recurring injuries.
Flare-ups.
Stiffness.
Poor recovery.
Loss of confidence in movement.

That does not mean the person has failed.

It may mean the plan is only looking at part of the picture.

At My Mobility Code, and look at the body from two perspectives: how it moves and how it recovers.

Because a smarter movement plan is not just about doing more.

It is about understanding why the body keeps compensating, protecting, overloading or breaking down in the first place.

If this sounds familiar, take the quiz:

Have you ever felt like you are still doing the work, but your body is not moving forward in the way you hoped?

You are staying active. You are making an effort. You may be walking, stretching, training, eating well or trying to look after yourself.

But something still feels off.

Recovery takes longer. Stiffness keeps coming back. Progress feels slower. The same niggles appear again. Or your body just feels less predictable than it used to.

It can be easy to assume you need to do more, push harder or be more disciplined.

But sometimes the issue is not effort.

Sometimes your body needs a smarter strategy.

At My Mobility Code™, we look at the bigger picture: your movement patterns, recovery, structure, biology and how your body actually responds to load.

Because your body may not be asking you to stop. It may be asking you to understand it better.

Take the Smarter Movement Quiz and see which questions feel familiar:

Your body is not random.

That was the biggest takeaway from our first My Mobility Code webinar.

Recurring injuries, slow recovery, stiffness and loss of confidence often have a pattern behind them. Yet too many people are told to rest, push through or accept it as ageing, without getting real answers.

In the webinar, Amanda Archibald () and Darryl Frerk () introduced MobilitySpan: a more personalised way to understand how your biology and movement work together.

Because when we look at both, the next step becomes clearer.
