Overthinking to the point of becoming anxious doesn’t help or change anything .
We can only do so much, then we need to pray ,hand it over and have faith.

I dont usually write these type of messages but today i feel INSPIRED to do so !
Today is a very significant day!Another milestone reached.
20 years ago I was set free from the “prison of addiction”

It hasn’t been an easy journey of recovery but It’s been worth every step.

As I awoke this morning i felt a bit emotional thinking of the many challenges I have faced along the way but the overwhelming gratitude in my ♥️ quickly caused those thoughts to fade and instead I began to focus on the things I am
grateful for:
LIFE ,My Health, New Beginnings Restoration,2 nd Chances, New
Opportunities , the Support of my Wife,True Friends & Family members, but MOSTLY I am Grateful for the opportunity to “Give Back”.
To be able to help someone else break free from the chains of addiction and to be a support to those that have made the choice to change their lives.

Addiction does not discriminate and is NOT a respector of persons .
It is something that never goes away and part of the recovery journey is learning how to ‘manage addiction’-If you don’t manage it, IT will manage you !
I share this today in the hope that it inspires someone who is still caught up in the throes of active addiction .
I want you to
know that there is a WAY OUT .

Never rely on your own strength, Always rely on God’s strength and if you haven’t had the privelege of meeting Him yet I encourage you to do so.
It will be a life changing experience .
Have a support structure in place and be held accountable.
Recovery is not easy,YOU need to crucify your flesh daily, pick up YOUR Cross daily and take responsibility for YOUR life.
I want you to know it is possible to overcome addiction.
