Using a comprehensive combination of skilled evaluation and treatment techniques, Physiotherapists manage pain and/or injuries to the muscular, skeletal and neural components of the body. Treatment is aimed at restoring the highest level of function by reducing the pain and/or stiffness, and by educating the pat

ient on his/her condition. Treatment techniques used may include skilled hands on therapy, dry needling, specialised electrotherapy equipment, strapping, individualised exercise programmes, and very importantly, patient education. Did anyone say online consultations?

Yes, HW Physio is offering online consultations!

Sessions consist of the subjective assessment, evaluation (as best we can) and treatment (consisting of home advice, guidance through self mobilizations / manual techniques, exercises and home advice). Although we charge a private rate of +/- R400 per 45 minute session the medical aid will still reimburse you for a portion of the session.
