Alรฉ holds a Masterโ€™s degree from Stellenbosch University and a qualification in Executive Functioning Coaching through Connections in Mind (CiM) in the UK.

With a decade of experience in school settings, including both special-needs and inclusive mainstream schools, Alรฉ brings a practical understanding of how neurodevelopmental profiles present in the classroom. She has a particular interest in ADHD, Autism and Specific Learning Disorders, and enjoys helping children, parents and schools understand individual strengths, challenges and learning needs.

Her work includes school-related assessments, therapeutic support, parent guidance and helping families navigate school placement, subject choices and special-school applications.

Alรฉ is our sunshine team member and the unofficial go-to for anything school-related โ€” if thereโ€™s a school question, Alรฉ probably has an answer! ๐Ÿ˜„

Weโ€™re excited to introduce our small, informal social group for young adults.

Rachel is a Counselling Psychologist who enjoys working collaboratively with children, adolescents and adults, creating a safe and supportive space where clients can better understand themselves, navigate challenges and grow.

She completed her Masterโ€™s degree in Counselling Psychology at the University of the Free State with distinction. Her experience includes working in Student Counselling and Development at the University of the Free State, as well as at Martie du Plessis School in Bloemfontein.

Rachel recently relocated to Cape Town โ€” but judging by how quickly sheโ€™s settled in, youโ€™d think sheโ€™d been here for years! ๐Ÿ˜„

Connect. Learn. Collaborate. โ€” and it truly delivered on all three. A wonderful networking event for local healthcare professionals, filled with good conversation, exciting exhibitions, informative talks, and really great food too! ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ

We had incredible, up-to-date discussions on how nutrition supports women's bodies and brains through hormonal change and thought-provoking discussions on how screen time is shaping attention, planning, and self-regulation - and how we should all evaluate our screentime habits. And so much more!

A big thank you to Nutritional Solutions for hosting such a thoughtful and well-organised event. Grateful for the chance to connect with colleagues doing such meaningful work across disciplines. Brain health really is a team effort! ๐Ÿ™Œ
