We know Papsmears can be intimidating especially if it is your first time! Our doctors try their best to make the process as comfortable as possible. Here is a short video where Dr Talia shows the equipment and the brief process during your papsmear. We hope this eases some anxiety. Many GPs and nurses are capable and qualified to perform papsmears- which is a cost effective option.

It was fantastic working with this company in April to bring out a mobile mammogram bus to the doors of our community. They have a mammogram machine equipped on the bus with kind and attentive staff. A qualified radiologist sends a report to your preferred doctor. They are contracted with medical aids and accept cash payment plans. We do not get any financial gain from this- it is merely a project to increase convenience for women and catch as much breast cancer as we can! Take a look at their website as the bus goes to many areas. We will hopefully bring them back to Kenilworth in the future👩‍⚕️🚑

A warm welcome to our new Practice Manager, Kelly! Her first week at the practice was certainly a baptism by fire but she handled it like a champ.

Kelly is new to the medical field and we are training her for the role. She is excited for the new challenge. She has a extensive background in customer service and sales and is the perfect person to greet you when you arrive.

In her spare time, Kelly makes beautiful charcuterie boards and is passionate about food. She loves spending time with her husband and two kids, and her ideal day is exploring Cape Town markets with them.

We are so happy to have you on the team and we are excited for what the future holds ☺️

The screening company will be utilising our space for the day. Please note that we do not receive any financial benefit from this initiative, we are simply hosting to support accessible screening in our community.
