🎨 Messy Play vs Sensory Play – What's the Difference? 👶✨

These two terms are often used interchangeably, but they're not quite the same.

🖐️ Sensory Play is any activity that encourages children to use their senses—touch, sight, hearing, smell, and even taste (when safe).

🌈 Messy Play is a type of sensory play that involves getting hands-on with materials like paint, mud, foam, jelly, or slime.

The best part? 💛
Not all sensory play is messy, but all messy play provides incredible opportunities for learning, creativity, confidence, and development.

So don't be afraid of a little mess—it often means big learning is happening!
