Triggers don't appear to defeat us.
They reveal the areas where healing still needs to happen.

In recovery, certain situations, emotions, memories, or relationships can tempt us to return to old habits and unhealthy patterns. The good news is that awareness gives us power, and with the right tools, support, and faith, we can choose a different response.

This week, we're revisiting Tackling Triggers as we learn how to recognise what affects us, understand why it affects us, and develop practical ways to navigate those moments with confidence.

Anger often feels like the problem, but beneath the anger there is usually something deeper.

Hurt. Fear. Rejection. Frustration. Unmet expectations.

When we don't understand what's driving our anger, we can find ourselves reacting in ways that damage relationships, hinder recovery, and keep us stuck in unhealthy cycles.

This week, we're digging deeper into Anger in Recovery Part 2, exploring the roots of anger and learning practical tools to respond rather than react.

Anger is a normal emotion, but if left unchecked, it can become a major obstacle in recovery.

Recovery isn't about never feeling angry. It's about developing the tools to manage those feelings in a way that supports healing, growth, and lasting change.

Understanding your triggers, recognising unhealthy patterns, and learning healthier responses can make a powerful difference on the road to recovery.

Some triggers are loud.
Some are silent.
But recovery is learning that you don’t have to respond the way you used to. 🤍

This week, we’re talking about Tackling Triggers - identifying the people, places, emotions, and thoughts that try to pull us backwards, while building healthy strategies that move us forward.

Healing is not about pretending triggers don’t exist.
It’s about growing stronger, wiser, and supported enough to face them differently.

Relapse doesn’t happen overnight.
It begins with a thought, a feeling, a justification… and before long, the cycle starts again.

Join us tomorrow evening, as unpack the hidden thought patterns that keep people trapped and learn how to break the cycle before it reaches the action stage.

This is a safe space for real conversations, real support, and real recovery. ❤️

❤️A day out at a camp site - to help a beautiful church and their youth leaders in Sezela. Was so awesome to see kids healed and set free. Addictions that were hiding were exposed to Gods light. Our girls and boys cried their hearts out because of loneliness. These kids won’t ever be the same again. 🙌 So many saved and delivered 🔥

God always has the final say!

Invite our team to your church, organization or mens / womans fellowships and let the power of healing takeover 🔥🔥

Ever felt like you’re doing everything right… but you’re just tired?

Tired of the fight.
Tired of the routine.
Tired of holding it together.

That’s called Recovery Fatigue and it’s one of the biggest reasons people fall back, not because they want to… but because they’re worn out.

This week at Redeemed Recovery, we’re getting real about:
* Why recovery starts feeling heavy
* The warning signs most people ignore
* How to keep going without burning out

If you’ve been feeling like giving up quietly… this one is for you.
