Dental Implant bridges need to be serviced yearly or depending on your hygiene. An X-ray is taken yearly to asses the health of the dental implants and surrounding bone. When the bridge is removed, the gums around the dental implants are cleaned, the dental implant bridges are also cleaned and polished. Any areas that are plaque retentive are adjusted for ease of cleaning. Patients are also educated about the hygiene techniques. All dental prosthesis have physiological wear as well, hence the bite is also adjusted accordingly.
