Why it’s important to be still now?

Today, 25 June 2026, corresponds to 11 Jaguar on the sacred 260-day calendar of the Maya and Aztec traditions. Jaguar is a powerful archetype representing mystery, spiritual vision, inner knowing, and the unseen dimensions of reality. It calls us to move beyond surface appearances and into deeper awareness of consciousness itself. At this time, humanity is moving through the Day Cycle of the Ninth Wave, an 18-day cycle that began on 18 June 2026, moving through the sacred directions of the Medicine Wheel from East to South to West. This represents a period of expansion, growth, and the arrival of new cosmic information or spiritual “downloads.” During these Light cycles, consciousness expands beyond what has previously limited it, allowing new frequencies, insights, and possibilities to enter the collective field. Then on 6 July 2026, the Ninth Wave moves into its Night Cycle, another 18-day phase moving from West to North to East, bringing contraction, rest, internal restructuring, and deeper integration. This rhythm reveals a profound truth: creation itself moves through expansion and contraction. Growth is followed by rest, expansion by collapse, birth by integration, and then the cycle begins again. This is how the universe breathes. The Ninth Wave, activated on 9 March 2011, represents the highest frequency of the Mayan calendar, accelerating consciousness toward truth, unity, and alignment with Creator Source. Its 36-day cycle moves through the four sacred directions—East (new beginnings), South (growth), West (transformation), and North (wisdom and design change)—reflecting the forward motion of time itself.

The universe moves through sacred geometry, direction, and cyclical intelligence. From galaxies and seasons to biological rhythms, breath cycles, brainwave states, circadian rhythms, electromagnetic fields, harmonic oscillations, quantum resonance, and wave behavior, modern science observes the mechanics of these rhythms while ancient wisdom understood their deeper meaning through sacred calendars and cosmological cycles. Science measures the mechanics; spirituality experiences the meaning. Together they reveal that time is not random—it is intelligent. Time itself appears to be an evolutionary force guiding consciousness.

If we move one level down the pyramid to the Eighth Wave, the scale expands by twenty times. Here, each Day and Night cycle lasts 360 days, creating a full cycle of 720 days. Humanity is currently in the Night Cycle of the Eighth Wave, which began in August 2025 and completes 360 days later on 10 August 2026. Energetically, humanity is in the early hours before sunrise—roughly around 4:30 a.m., still in dream time. This is the mysterious and magical phase before dawn, when reality is being redesigned in the unseen. Just as in our daily lives we are asleep and dreaming around 4 a.m.—where dreams carry symbolic intelligence, healing, memory, and future possibilities—the same principle applies collectively.

Humanity is now in a planetary dream state. New dreams are being dreamed. New realities are being conceived. A powerful portal is open through which the universe is feeding consciousness with dreams, visions, memories, and codes of activation—ancient cosmic memories encoded within creation itself. In spiritual terms, Creator Source is breathing new light into consciousness; scientifically, this could be described as shifts in informational fields, energetic coherence, and collective pattern reorganization. Both perspectives point toward the same truth: something entirely new is emerging. Since the activation of the Eighth Wave in 1999, humanity has witnessed major global shifts including spiritual awakening, the return of feminine consciousness, the digital revolution, and the rise of AI and advanced intelligence systems. These developments are not random. They reflect consciousness unfolding according to a deeper time schedule. Creation moves with purpose. There is intelligence within evolution and direction within time. Yet although all nine levels of the pyramid reached completion on 28 October 2011, humanity is still catching up. We are living in a lag between what creation has initiated and what humanity has embodied. Creation itself strives toward truth because it emerges from truth, yet human consciousness, through free will and limited awareness, has often created distortion, imbalance, fear, division, and chaos. Physical reality reflects this distorted consciousness, but that distortion is gradually being purified. A higher frequency—a diamond light consciousness of truth and unconditional love—is entering Earth’s field, transmuting distortion. This is one of the deeper functions of the Ninth Wave.

At present, within the Eighth Wave, humanity is moving from North toward East, the phase of the Medicine Wheel known as Design Change. Reality itself is being redesigned. Old systems are collapsing, old beliefs dissolving, and outdated structures no longer hold. This can feel chaotic and uncertain, yet from a higher perspective collapse is not failure—it is preparation for rebirth. Creation dismantles what no longer serves life in order to build something more aligned with truth. From 11 August 2026, when the Eighth Wave enters its Day Cycle, humanity may begin to feel a major energetic shift into growth, movement, expansion, and a new sunrise of consciousness. One level lower again, the Seventh Wave expands another twenty times, with each Day and Night cycle lasting 19.7 years and each full cycle spanning nearly 40 years. The current Seventh Night began on 29 October 2011 1-Imix/Alligator and continues until mid-July 2031. This level governs planetary consciousness and originally began in 1755, aligned with the Industrial Revolution. While this era brought extraordinary technological advancement, it also disconnected humanity from nature, creating increasingly materialistic and mechanistic ways of thinking. Human consciousness became separated from Earth’s living intelligence, disconnected from spirit, and detached from sacred relationship with life. This is one of the great distortions now being healed. Looking further back, the Sixth Wave, corresponding to the Long Count, spanned 5,125 years and accelerated civilization, mental development, cities, hierarchy, and masculine dominance. Humanity moved increasingly into a world governed by mind, control, and structure. Before that came the Fifth Wave, spanning 102,000 years, characterized by hunter-gatherer consciousness, shamanic living, heart-centered awareness, and deep alignment with Earth and Creator. Humanity lived closer to its original sacred design, in harmony with the land, nature, spirit, and the sacred intelligence of creation. This may be much closer to humanity’s primal destiny than modern civilization remembers.

The Nine-Level Pyramid reveals that creation evolves through the compression of time, with each level accelerating by a factor of twenty and dramatically increasing the speed of consciousness evolution. Time is not merely passing—it is evolving consciousness. And where is it leading us? Toward truth, unity, and remembrance. The deeper purpose of the Ninth Wave is to guide humanity out of mind-dominance and back into heart-centered awareness, helping us remember our original design: to live peacefully, in truth, in harmony with nature, in sacred relationship with Earth, and in alignment with unconditional love. This is the emergence of the New Earth—not necessarily a different planet, but a different state of consciousness: a humanity aligned with Creator Source, rooted in love rather than fear, remembering that we are not separate from nature, each other, or God. An important understanding at this time is the extraordinary synchronistic alignment between the Eighth Wave and Seventh Wave, both currently in Night cycles and both moving through the same directional phase of the Medicine Wheel—from North toward East. This phase represents Design Change, the sacred dreaming space just before the new light rises in the East. Both Galactic and Planetary consciousness are simultaneously positioned in the great dreaming before dawn, creating an exceptionally powerful window of transformation. Although it is importance to understand that the 7th Wave is slower moving and completes its Night cycle in mid July 2031.

Because of this alignment of the Eighth Wave and Seventh Wave, a major portal is open through which intelligence, light, higher frequencies, and evolutionary information are being channeled into human consciousness to transmute and transcend old ways of being. Outdated systems and distorted patterns are collapsing because they can no longer sustain the frequencies of higher truth now entering Earth’s field. What many may be sensing now is stillness—but this stillness is sacred and needed now, this is why it is important to be still now, and open the heart, so that creation can weave its magic through us, like Baatz/Monkey, of which it was 8-Monkey on 22 June 2026, one of the most sacred days of the 260 day Tzolkin.

Hence, creation itself is resting, recovering, and preparing. Just as the quiet stillness before sunrise carries immense potential, humanity now stands at a threshold between what is ending and what is being born. A great expansion is preparing to emerge. Humanity is shedding density to embody more light, becoming increasingly aligned with pure consciousness in physical form and greater coherence with the multidimensional universe. A new perspective of reality is dawning—one that reveals all life as interconnected. Nothing is separate. Separation itself is part of the illusion of lower-density consciousness. At the deepest level, all is One. The infinite universe exists within. As humanity awakens to this truth, a profound remembering begins.

The New Earth is not merely a future event—it is a consciousness already being dreamed into existence now. As we align with truth, peace, love, and Creator Source, we become active participants in anchoring this new reality into being. This is the deeper mystery of the Nine-Level Pyramid of Time. It reveals that a divine plan is unfolding, and perhaps the greatest truth of all is this: we are not separate from creation—we are creation becoming conscious of itself. Through this awakening, humanity may finally return to its sacred destiny: to live as one people, on one Earth, under one Creator, in peace, love, and truth.

The new cycle begins 8-Monkey.

Today is one of the most important days in the sacred calendar. It is the beginning of the new ceremonial cycle. The nawal B’atz represents the thread of time. The sacred calendar is a representation of how that thread is woven to create reality. It is the nawal B’atzthat brings the creativity to our world, re-creating and renewing all around us.
Both the number 8 and the nawal B’atz have a connection with gestation. It is said that the umbilical cord has 8 strands to it. This brings the nourishment to the new life being brought into being. Here, within the Maya cross, we see 8 B’atz sitting between 13 Aq’ab’al (the conception from the ancestors) and 3 Kawok (the day of the midwife/birth process). These precede the day 4 Ajpu (the first day of the new world). It is on 8 B’atz that the new world receives its nourishment within the womb of creation. This comes from the prayers and offerings made in the ceremonies.
We all have some talent to create, through words, music, food or images. We also have the ability to shape the world around us, our homes, our families, our communities. This is the day that we give thanks for our creative abilities, the day to gather inspiration from what you have created before and combine it with a new concept or method. Today we put all our love and energy into nurturing the new world soon to be birthed into being. It is the day where we embrace, and are empowered by, the wholeness of creation.
Initiation
This is the day of initiation of new Aj Q’ij’ab, where the baton is passed from the old to the new. It is the day of celebration of the Chol Q’ij, the sacred calendar. The calendar brings our ability to navigate through life using the cycles of time effectively. From the dawn of this day, the shrines and altars within the Maya lands will be packed with Aj Q’ij’ab making offerings and prayers on behalf of not just their communities, but the world as a whole. They are imparting the love and wisdom of the old world into the new world which is being woven. This is the day where the seam is created joining the previous weaving of creation, completed on 7 B’atz (40 days ago), with the new weaving started in 1 B’atz (20 days ago). Here, the past and the future are joined.

There are two nawales which bestow genius talents, one of which is B’atz, the other being No’j. B’atz is the nawal of artisans and of weavers. This is not just creation and weaving on the Earthly level. It weaves the threads of time together to create reality. B’atz is the nawal of the sacred calendar. The calendar could be considered to be the fabric created from these individual threads of time.
If B’atz is clever enough to weave time into order, it is clever enough to create more down to Earth trinkets. B’atz is the master artisan, creating whatever it chooses, at will. It is just as comfortable painting, as it is playing music or writing. The arts come naturally to this nawal. However, this can lead to issues when B’atz has to deal with those less talented than itself. This can lead to a certain arrogance around those who fail to achieve their standard of excellence.
Their talent draws attention, which is something B’atz craves. It is the nawal of the born entertainer, who can sing, dance and play all at once. This nawal is the life and soul of the party, it also makes excellent teachers, who hold the attention of students through entertaining them. It is a particularly fun loving nawal that feeds on the adoration of the crowd that it pleases.
B’atz is a day to create, especially within the fields of the arts. It is also a day to weave your reality the way you see fit. Where Aq’ab’al was the conception, B’atz is the gestation.
The Number Eight
The number 8 is considered to be several wholeness. It can be seen as birth (1) and death (7) combined to represent the whole cycle of the soul. Also, it can be seen as the point where the four first men who raised the sky from the sea were joined by their wives and the world became whole. The eighth day of the trecena is the most common day for ceremonies to be made. Therefore, it is still in the balanced range of numbers and is an even number, which is also considered fortunate. This wholeness represents every aspect of the energy of the day with which it is coupled. It is the wholeness of the nawal that is addressed in the ceremony.

Humanity is still learning how to embody a more unified consciousness while carrying the unresolved wounds of the past.

Many ancient prophecies point toward a return of Indigenous wisdom as an important guide for this transition. Across cultures, Indigenous traditions have preserved an understanding of humanity's intimate relationship with nature, recognizing that life flourishes when it exists in balance with the living Earth. Modern civilization has achieved remarkable advancements, yet in many ways it has become disconnected from the natural systems that sustain it.

The challenge before humanity is not to abandon civilization, but to evolve it—to create a society that combines technological and scientific understanding with reverence for nature, community, and the wisdom of the heart. We are being invited to rediscover our place within the larger web of life and to understand that our well-being is inseparable from the well-being of the Earth itself.

This vision is reflected in many spiritual traditions, including what Native American teachings often refer to as the Red Road—the path of living with integrity, respect, balance, and heart-centered awareness. Such teachings remind us that true progress is not measured solely by material achievement, but by the quality of our relationships with one another, with nature, and with Spirit.

Healing is a central theme of this time. Across the world, many people are confronting inherited trauma, collective wounds, and the consequences of generations of misunderstanding and separation. Whether through ceremony, community, self-reflection, or compassionate action, humanity is increasingly being called to participate in a process of deep healing and reconciliation.

From both spiritual and scientific perspectives, transformation often occurs when existing systems can no longer sustain themselves in their current form. The pressures we witness in the world today may be viewed as signs of an evolutionary process pushing humanity toward greater awareness, cooperation, and responsibility.

The incoming Light, however one chooses to define it—whether as higher consciousness, expanded awareness, or a deeper connection to the Source of Creation—is inviting us to awaken to our shared humanity.

Now is the time to set aside division and cultivate compassion. It is time to recognize that mistakes have been made, individually and collectively, and that forgiveness is essential for moving forward. It is time to build a world founded upon love, equality, peace, and mutual respect.

The Seed has already been planted.

What grows from it depends upon how consciously we nurture it.
