It’s an important part of the body, yet many of us don’t give it much thought until something starts to feel different.
The pelvic floor is a group of muscles with several important functions, supporting the bladder, bowel and reproductive organs and playing a role in bladder and bowel control, sexual function and core stability.
When pelvic floor problems occur, they can feel difficult or embarrassing to talk about, which means many women simply put up with symptoms in silence.
