“But it’s in the charger… so it’s charging, right?”

Not necessarily. 😅

With some hearing aids, charging isn’t quite as foolproof as it looks.

The hearing aid needs to sit correctly so that the charging contacts and magnets make proper contact. Too little, too much, or just slightly off-centre — and it may look like it’s sitting in the charger without actually charging.

So yes, we practise this.

Sometimes once.

Sometimes several times.

Because knowing how to use a hearing aid is just as important as choosing the right one.

And this is why fitting a hearing aid isn’t simply:

“Here you go. Good luck.”

The portable charger gives you up to four additional charges before it needs to be plugged in again.

Which means your hearing aids can come along for the day without your charging station having to.

Bag. Car. Weekend away. Somewhere you forgot existed until your battery started complaining. 😂
