We often respond to what’s visible—
the yelling, the refusal, the shutdown.

But behaviour isn’t the full story. It’s the surface expression of what’s happening underneath:

• sensory overload
• cognitive fatigue
• emotional overwhelm
• unmet needs for connection or safety

When we only address the “tip,” we miss the mechanism driving it.

Regulation changes behaviour more effectively than control—
because it works at the level the behaviour is coming from.
