Please be very careful when choosing your Funeral Service provider. We have noticed and have been warned that there are a few one man bands around, that open an office, buy themselves a car and call themselves a Funeral Home. They will not be a lisenced or registered Funeral home and they WILL NOT HAVE THEIR OWN CONTROLLED MORTUARY FACILITIES. You will not know where your loved one is being stored or looked after. Always know that cheap is not best and should raise warning signals. KNOW YOUR FUNERAL SERVICE PROVIDER. PLEASE.

There is so much more to Shanleys Funeral Home than meets the eye...from facilitating tissue donation (skin, cornea, bone), entertainment and donations to our wonderful retirement homes, supporting animal charities, musical quiz events and bingo (with our dear Johnny), supporting markets, informative talks, chair pilates to keep the residents fit and strong, flowers and dancing, designing hymn sheets, allowing animals to visit the funeral home to say goodbye to their owners, private viewings, committals, organising catering, facilitating private post mortems...and oh my gosh the list could go on and on. So please take a moment to understand that so much more goes on behind the scenes and that so many people are involved in the successful running of a funeral home. Doctors, nurses, Ministers, carers, caterers, drivers, entertainers, to name but a few. 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
