Meet our Optometrist: Yurisa Naidoo has over 27 years of experience in the eye health sector. Her passion for community eye-health care has led to her running her practice in Bayview.

She has advanced diagnostic skills and practices with a special interest in the diagnosis and management of ocular disease and specialized contact lens fitting. Her extensive experience includes the fitting of corneal and scleral contact lenses for keratoconus and other corneal conditions.

Her down-to-earth approach to eye health, friendly smile and caring demeanor are only part of her makeup. She is a force to be reckoned with in the Eye Health sector in South Africa and abroad. She currently serves as the Chairperson of the Professional Board for Optometry on the Health Professions Council of SA (HPCSA).

Yurisa has also been associated with the UKZN Department of Optometry for several years as a clinical preceptor and external examiner.
An avid adventurer, Yurisa's hobbies include 4x4 off-road adventure driving.
