Dr Nicolette shares her own experience with lipfiller. She is a very experienced aesthetic practitioner who loves treating lips as if it's a work of art or sculpture she is creating.

She uses a method called lip sculpturing —this is a highly precise, advanced injection technique. Instead of simply adding basic volume, it focuses on defining the lip borders, fixing asymmetry, enhancing the Cupid's bow, and balancing proportions to create beautifully structured, natural-looking lips.

She is "my Lady Botox" who will greet you when you enter the practice.
She is the summary of many creative thoughts about what to do with all my "botox bottles" that became a face with a crack in the clay. The cracks developed because I took too long to complete her (over a year), not always having enough time for my creative projects in between work!

I could have filled the cracks, however I decided to leave them as I think they symbolize our human fragility with the passage of time, and beauty in imperfection.

The idea started a few years ago
a creative thought that wouldn't leave me,
what can I do with all my Botox bottles?
How do I make them look interesting,
like something you want to touch,
like something you want to experience

So, I begin the pilgrimage with my hands and clay,
Out of nothing; there was no model
I conjured her
the lady with the Botox hair
smooth, well proportioned, but not perfect
I threaded hair from wire,
wove a laugh of metal into a scalp of earth
with the Botox in between

She is the thought that became a face
the imperfect lady finally resting on my desk
She greets you with a practiced calm,
a softened brow, a crack in the clay
Come in and meet her
and find in that still face
the echo of many creative ideas
moulded into art
