Neurodiversity Centre

Neurodiversity Centre A multi-disciplinary service for neurodivergent children and adults. We accept and value this variance along with each individual’s unique way of being.

The term ‘Neurodiversity’ points to the recognition of the fact that there is a naturally occurring diversity among different individuals in terms of how our brains function. At the same time, we are acutely aware of the considerable challenges people may face in our society as a result of these natural, neurological differences. As part of our services we offer training to all role-players involv

ed including parents, teachers and facilitators. We also offer a variety of support groups catering to all the aspects of the complex diagnosis and interventions of the Autism Spectrum. Please refer to our website and FB page to keep updated!

ADHD in Women: The Overlooked Story (Part 3)

Many women aren't diagnosed with ADHD until their 30s, 40s, or later.

This is not because ADHD appeared late. It is because a lifetime of masking, compensating, and being told you are "too sensitive" or "not trying hard enough" can hold the real picture back for decades.

For many women, diagnosis does not feel like bad news. It feels like relief, like reading a biography of your brain for the very first time.

We have written a full, affirming piece on why ADHD in women has been the overlooked story for too long, and why that is finally changing.

Every child deserves to feel like they belong.

For some children, making friends, joining conversations, or understanding social situations doesn't come naturally and that can be incredibly lonely.

Buddy Club provides a safe, supportive environment where children can learn, practise, and grow alongside peers who understand them. Through fun, structured activities, we help children develop confidence, strengthen social connections, and discover that they don't have to navigate friendships alone.

If you've ever wondered whether Buddy Club could benefit your child, we'd love to invite you to our FREE online information evening. It's a relaxed opportunity to learn more about the programme, ask questions, and see if it's the right fit for your family.
