DAD IT IS NOT ALL ABOUT MONEY ' KHANI SINCEDISE
" Many boys are starving for the voice of a man who says, "This is my son, and I am pleased with him."
That voice means:
“I see you.”
“I’m proud of you.”
“You have what it takes.”
“You are growing well.”
“You can do better, and I will help you.”
And when that voice is absent, a boy may spend years trying to prove himself.
He may become loud, rebellious, overly competitive, sexually reckless, emotionally closed, or obsessed with achievement — not because he is confident, but because he is looking for proof that he matters.
Some boys do not misbehave because they hate correction.
They misbehave because they are hungry for male attention."
