Our group is now called ELAN – Empowering Lives, Affirming Neurodiversity
(formerly known as East London Autism Network).
This rebrand reflects who we have always been and what we stand for.
ELAN represents our belief that autistic and neurodivergent people do not need to be fixed, cured, or changed to be valued. We believe in thriving as you are, with the right understanding, support, and community around you.
Empowering Lives speaks to supporting parents, caregivers, and neurodivergent individuals to feel informed, confident, and supported in their journeys.
Affirming Neurodiversity reflects our commitment to an acceptance-based, strengths-focused approach that honours different ways of thinking, feeling, communicating, and being.
While our name has changed, our heart, values, and purpose remain the same. We continue to be a warm, inclusive, and affirming space for parents and caregivers — a place to connect, learn, and feel less alone.
