Tuesday ♒️
As I sat reflecting on the experience I just had teaching my first reformer class.
I looked around the room as I taught a full class, watching the different emotions playing in people's faces and different comments from some about the experience as they moved on the reformer.
"Geez, are you trying to kill us?"
"OMW that I can definitely feel it on my inner thighs"
"Oh wow why is it so hard to lift that leg up?"
"My body is literally shaking"
..and many more‼️
Each had something to share but you know what? None of it was negative, after class they wanted to know if I was going to take on more classes because they were moved in a way that was very different and they felt like they have never done reformer before.
You see this for me is my why. I love seeing people realizing how much they are actually capable of doing when they just allow themselves to do it.
It is hard, challenging but one thing they have is they will do it and want more of it.
Something I never really quite manage to get people to understand in some gym spaces.
These are the kind of people I have always wanted to meet, both on the mat amd reformer.
