I know that many of us overindulged in eating Easter eggs and chocolates... Just to ease some of the guilt, here are some healthy benefits of eating (dark) chocolate:
*lowering of blood pressure & cholesterol, which helps with cardiovascular health
*an improvement in mood & brain function
*a reduction in inflammation
* an improvement in insulin sensitivity
If these benefits still do not balance out the volume of chocolate eaten, it's time to get our walking shoes on ;)
