World Breastfeeding week🤱🧠
Speech Therapists play a role in breastfeeding, mainly to provide oral stimulation to strengthen oral structures for safe and pleasurable breast feeding for baby, Positioning and improving baby’s suck and latch.
Here are some pointers to look out for, indicating your baby might be having a poor latch during breast feeding🧠🤱
- poor lip closure around the ar**la (the black part around the ni**le)
- Clicking sounds when the baby is breast feeding
- Sore and painful ni**les during breast feeding
- Irritability during breast feeding
