My first thought on this picture was “The girl and the moon”. As the moon is getting fuller approaching the next full moon and as the moon rules water in a way it rules us too.

But then there’s more. This picture is taken in Rio de Janeiro yesterday. I am reconnecting to the traveler in me and I missed her. Travel for me means personal growth, connecting the the current truest version of yourself outside your known comfort zone and especially solo-travel (my favourite) is a very spiritual experience too.

And it all happened over my birthday too, like a personal upgrade to the next version of me. A better improved me.

Solo-walks have been a favourite of mine for a long time. And while I love sharing hiking experiences, usually at least every 2nd walk I will do by myself. It might feel weird for you if you are new to it but it is truly special and so healing in so many ways. And totally meditative 🧘

“Now” is all there is.

“Learn from the past, plan for the future, but live in the moment” is a philosophy advocating for a balanced, mindful life. It suggests using the past as a reference, not a residence; preparing for the future without anxiety; and focusing on the present as the only tangible reality.

The present is considered “inevitable” because it is the only time that actually exists, making it impossible to escape, even when one is preoccupied with memories or anticipation.

How to Live in the Moment:

- Redirect Attention: When your mind drifts to regrets or worries, intentionally bring it back to your current surroundings using the five senses.
- Practice Gratitude: Appreciate the small, immediate joys of life.
- Act Immediately: Use the present moment to perform necessary actions rather than procrastinating, as the present is the only time available for ex*****on.

What started as an event in December 2025 became a regular popular class happening twice a month since then. Every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month.

I personally couldn’t imagine a better combination. Softening the body and mind in Yin Yoga and then drifting into an extra long Savasana while being carried away my mesmerising and healing sounds.
