Always a priviledge to help… Dr Ansua recently joined the charity “Caring4Sight” during an outreach in Upington, in the Kalahari.
This initiative focused on cataract surgery, and more than 100 successful cataract operations were performed.

Dr Ansua was honoured to be invited by Dr Jonathan Pons to participate in this remarkable outreach. Blindness caused by cataracts remains a significant global health challenge, and this project brought hope and restored vision to many.

It was deeply moving to witness how the lives of families and children in the Kalahari were transformed — what a privilege to see sight restored and lives changed.
