I didn’t set out to start a business.

I just wanted to make something useful with my hands… and support my family while looking after what we’ve been given.

In my world, that looks like:
• choosing simple over complicated
• re-using where I can
• supporting local
• making things that last

As a working mom of 3, life is full.
Busy days. Packed schedules. So many moving parts.

So I started making things that help carry it all — simply.
Bags that serve a purpose.
Pieces that make everyday life feel a little lighter.

The name Lula comes from IsiXhosa — meaning to simplify, to make easy.

And that’s what I’m always coming back to.

From the way we pack a bag ➡️
