This is where we build control 💪

Once we understand the root cause, we begin structured rehabilitation to help your body feel reliable again.

For children:
• Play-based skill building
• Toilet routines & progression
• Breathing & body awareness
• Strength through movement

For adults:
• Targeted rehab exercises
• Symptom management strategies
• Movement retraining
• Toileting technique practice

We don’t avoid movement. We use it as part of the solution.

We start as detectives 🕵️‍♀️

Before we treat symptoms, we uncover the why behind them.

This phase focuses on understanding what your body is telling us:

For children:
• Habits & routines
• Posture & toileting position
• Muscle use & compensations
• Emotional factors

For adults:
• Pelvic floor coordination
• Bladder & bowel habits
• Lifestyle & load
• Medical contributors

Lasting change starts with clarity, not guesswork.

Roadmap to the pelvic health journey

Many people ask:

“How long will this take?” or “How many sessions will I need?”

The truth is - pelvic health isn’t a one-size-fits-all journey.

That’s why we use a clear, structured roadmap to guide progress step by step.
🌿 Pinpoint the cause

Small daily habits can make a big difference in bladder and bowel health.

Encourage:
• Regular toilet breaks (every 2–3 hours)
• Proper sitting posture on the toilet
• Adequate water intake
• Fibre-rich foods
• Not rushing bathroom time

Healthy patterns build strong bladder and bowel function over time.

If your child is struggling despite good habits, professional guidance can help reset those patterns safely.

The bladder and bowel are closely connected to the nervous system.

When a child experiences anxiety, stress can influence:
• Urgency
• Frequent urination
• Constipation
• Stool withholding
• Accidents

This doesn’t mean it’s “in their head.”
It means their body is responding to stress.

Understanding the emotional component of bladder and bowel health allows us to treat the child holistically.

Support is gentle, practical and child-focused 💜

It’s more common than you think.
Many children avoid using the school bathroom because of:
• Lack of privacy
• Fear of bullying
• Dirty facilities
• Anxiety
• Not wanting to interrupt class

Avoidance can lead to:
• Constipation
• Daytime wetting
• Recurrent UTIs
• Bladder dysfunction

When children repeatedly “hold on,” the bladder and bowel patterns can become disrupted.

If your child is struggling, early support can make a significant difference — without blame or shame.
