What is Visual Therapy?
Visual Therapy is a personalized program developed to improve visual motor skills as well as visual perceptual skills. Visual Therapy treats binocular problems like visual tracking, convergence
insufficiency, accommodative instability,
amblyopia (lazy-eye) and squints.
Symptoms of binocular problems:
Blurred vision.
Double vision.
Reversals (“was” as “saw”).
Reversals when writing (b and d, p and q).
Uses finger to maintain place.
Avoid to do close work like draw, read and write.
Loses place while reading and writing.
The book is too close to the face.
Omits words or lines while reading.
Bad body posture with reading.
Takes longer to read, write or draw.
Copies incorrectly from the board.
Daydreaming.
Weak comprehension.
