🌱 THE FIRST LIMITLESS EMPOWERMENT MASTERCLASS — WHAT A DAY! 🌱
Last Saturday, we hosted our very first Limitless Empowerment Masterclass. This was an empowering space created especially for teen girls to challenge the limits they place on themselves, rethink their mindset, and discover the strength they already carry within them.
My message was simple but powerful: your mindset can be one of your greatest tools for building resilience, especially in the stressful and often challenging environment that teenagers navigate today.
✨ Irene Olivier, founder of Irene’s Models, reminded the girls that confidence is about so much more than how we look. She brought the room to life with an exciting and practical session on confidence, presence and the power of good posture.
✨ Amelia de K**k, a model from Irene's Models, opened up about her personal journey and shared an incredibly relatable story with the girls. Her honesty reminded them that struggles, uncertainty and difficult seasons do not have to define their future.
✨ Malisha Peters, motivational speaker and author of See Me, spoke about the power of choices. She shared how the decisions she made throughout her teenage and adult years shaped her journey — reminding the girls that while we cannot always choose our circumstances, we can choose how we respond to them.
✨ Noluthando Zuma, a teacher from Injoloba Secondary, surprised the girls with a powerful poem she wrote about the challenges young girls in her school face. Her words gave voice to experiences that many young girls quietly carry.
✨ A huge thank to Girl Ambassdors who attended from the following schools and organizations: Russell High School, Alexander High School, Howick High School, Silver Heights Secondary, Heather High School, Injoloba High School, Sunlit Gardens, Pietermaritzburg Children's Home, Raisethorpe High School, Haythorne High School, Mpophomeni High School. Girls Ambassadors will share the information from the event to girls in their schools creating greater impact.
đź’› Most importantly, the day was about reminding every girl in the room:
You are not limited by where you come from.
You are not limited by what others think of you.
You are not limited by your circumstances.
Your story is still being written.
We are incredibly proud of our first Limitless event and so grateful to everyone who helped make the day possible — our incredible speakers, guests, supporters, parents and, most importantly, the amazing young girls who showed up ready to learn, grow and believe in themselves.
🌱 All it takes is for a seed to be planted.
This is only the beginning.
See you next year! đź’«
