After five years of serving the Hoedspruit community, Hoedspruit Dialysis has officially closed its doors.

While we had hoped for a different outcome, we are deeply grateful for the opportunity to care for every patient, support their families, and serve visitors to the area who needed dialysis while away from home.

To every staff member who contributed their time, skill and compassion, thank you. To every patient who entrusted us with their care, it has been a privilege to walk alongside you.

We leave with gratitude for the people, relationships and memories that formed part of the Hoedspruit Dialysis journey.

In a small town with a big heart, our Hoedspruit team is stepping into Friday with purpose.

29 May is Slipper Day, South Africa's national fundraiser for The Reach For A Dream Foundation — supporting children facing life-threatening illnesses. Many of those children spend their days in hospital slippers, not unlike the patients our team shows up for, week after week in this community.

Out here, care has always been personal. This Friday, it looks like slippers.
