I think many people are carrying far more stress than they realise.

And often it doesn’t only show up emotionally, it shows up physically too.
In the breath.
The jaw.
The shoulders.
Digestion.
Fatigue.
Overwhelm.
Disconnection from self.

A big part of my work is helping people regulate their nervous systems through therapeutic bodywork, reflexology, breath, movement and embodiment practices.

Alongside my in-person treatments in Hout Bay, I have also expanded my online nervous system support work for both local and overseas clients.

These sessions are designed to help people reconnect with their bodies, better understand their stress responses, and create more regulation, resilience and steadiness in everyday life.

If this resonates with where you are right now, you’re welcome to reach out or book a gentle introductory call to explore working together.

Here’s a little intro to my Nervous System Reset Programmes.

How are you feeling right now? Really?
Anxious, depleted, foggy, not sleeping and perhaps just feeling a little “off”

Many people move through life in prolonged states of stress and nervous system dysregulation without fully realising how deeply it impacts both emotional and physical wellbeing.

Chronic stress can contribute to anxiety, fatigue, burnout, digestive disruption, inflammation, poor sleep, tension, emotional reactivity and feelings of disconnection from self and body.

These programmes are designed to support greater nervous system regulation, resilience and reconnection through an integrative approach combining embodiment coaching, mindful movement, breathwork, meditation, nervous system education and restorative body-based practices.

This programme is designed to help you better understand and regulate your nervous system through embodiment, movement, breathwork and restorative practices.

It supports greater emotional resilience, grounding, self-awareness and connection to the body, while helping to reduce patterns of overwhelm, tension, anxiety and chronic stress.

Through a structured and supportive process, the intention is to help you move from survival mode toward greater balance, capacity and wellbeing.

The programme includes:
• a private intake session before beginning
• weekly live embodiment and nervous system sessions
• guided movement and meditation practices
• ongoing nervous system support tools and reflections
• a private closing/check-out session at the end of the programme

For Cape Town clients, the programme takes place as a 10-week hybrid experience incorporating:
• 8 weekly online sessions
• 2 private in-person wellbeing/bodywork sessions integrated into the programme

For overseas and online clients, the programme is offered as an 8-week online experience with private intake and closing sessions online.

Weekly embodiment classes and private wellbeing sessions also continue separately outside of the programme structure.

The next group programme begins in July 2026.

There is healing that doesn’t always begin with talking.
Sometimes it begins with breath. With movement. With noticing your jaw unclench, your shoulders soften, your body exhale what it has been carrying.

As a wellness practitioner, my work is rooted in embodiment and somatic practice. This means helping you reconnect with the wisdom of your body, regulate your nervous system, and gently shift out of survival mode.

When stress, grief, trauma, burnout or life overload live in the system for too long, the body often speaks first: tension, fatigue, anxiety, overwhelm, poor sleep, digestive disruption, feeling disconnected from yourself.

My sessions are designed to meet you there.

Through guided movement, breathwork, mindfulness, therapeutic touch, reflexology and body-based awareness, we create space for your system to feel safe enough to soften, process and restore.

This is not about forcing healing.
It is about creating the conditions where healing can happen naturally.

If you’ve been feeling wired, tired, stuck or far from yourself, perhaps your body is asking to be listened to.

For me, teaching has always been about being of service. Creating a space where people can slow down, breathe, and reconnect with their bodies.

In our fast-paced world many of us live mostly in our heads. When we begin to move, breathe, and soften into the body, something beautiful happens. We enter a flow state where the nervous system settles, the mind quiets, and the body remembers its natural rhythm.

This is where real change begins.

Benefits of the practice:
• nervous system regulation
• reduced stress and anxiety
• improved mobility and strength
• deeper mind–body awareness
• greater calm and clarity

I offer:

* Small group classes in Hout Bay
* Private one-on-one sessions
* Mobile sessions in the comfort of your home
* Online sessions if you prefer to practice from anywhere

Whether you are looking for a grounding weekly practice, support with stress and nervous system regulation, or a deeper personal journey into embodiment, I would love to support you.

Hi, I’m Claire.

I’m a mom to a teenager who is currently teaching me more about patience, presence, humour, and humility than any training ever could. I’m also a woman moving through perimenopause, learning again how to listen to my body with softness, curiosity, and honesty. Alongside the realness of parenting and hormonal change, I work as a therapeutic massage and reflexology practitioner, somatic and embodiment guide, and nervous system support specialist.

My offerings come from lived experience, not theory alone: cancer recovery, the weight of corporate stress, my connection to addiction treatment work, and more than 30 years of yoga practice that has been less about the perfect pose and more about coming home to myself, breath by breath. I believe in bodywork because it saved me-and continues to. Weekly massage and reflexology are not indulgences but part of how I stay regulated, grateful, grounded, and able to show up for my family, my clients, and my life in a way that feels honest.

What I now share with others is exactly what I practice: supportive touch, nervous system soothing, lymphatic and reflexology-based reset, somatic unwinding, and space to remember that the body is not the enemy - but the guide, the barometer, and the place we return to when we’re ready to live with more ease and contentment.

Most of us are walking around with too little magnesium – the mineral that keeps our energy steady, nerves calm, heart beating smoothly, and bones strong.

Low levels can show up as:
• Muscle cramps and restless sleep
• Anxiety, stress, and migraines
• Irregular heartbeat or high blood pressure
• Tingling, numbness, or even neuropathy over time

The good news? It’s simple to turn this around.
• Leafy greens, nuts and seeds, dark chocolate, avocado, and fatty fish are all rich in magnesium
• In some cases, supplements can help too – especially when paired with vitamin D and mindful lifestyle practices like yoga, breathwork, and restorative sleep

Think of magnesium as a bridge between your body’s nutrition and your nervous system’s resilience.

There’s so much more to this story – including a day of magnesium-rich meal ideas, supplement guidance, and a TCM-inspired perspective.

✨ Sharing kindness is the way to a happy heart. ✨

Kindness is more than a gentle gesture - it’s a biochemical gift. When you give, receive, or even simply observe an act of kindness, your brain and body respond:

Dopamine - the “feel-good” neurotransmitter - creates what’s often called the helper’s high, lifting your mood and giving a natural sense of reward.
Oxytocin - the hormone of bonding and trust - rises through moments of connection, softening stress and deepening relationships.

Kindness nourishes both heart and nervous system, weaving together science and soul. It’s a simple yet profound way to cultivate wellbeing, resilience, and joy.

Today, notice:
🌱 one act of kindness you can offer,
🌱 one moment of kindness you can receive,
🌱 one expression of kindness you can observe.

Each is a doorway to a healthier, happier heart.

I have generated a dopamine tracker that you are welcome to reference on my website. Link in bio.

Have you heard of the vagus nerve?
If you’ve been feeling anxious, flat, foggy, tense, or stuck in stress mode — your vagus nerve could be the missing link.

It’s the body’s reset switch, influencing your mood, digestion, sleep, and resilience.
When it’s out of balance, you may feel constantly “on edge” or disconnected.

In my latest blog, I share:
✨ What the vagus nerve is (and why it matters)
✨ How to spot signs of imbalance
✨ Simple ways to tone and support it through somatic movement, breath, mindfulness, and bodywork

It’s been just over a year since I made the choice to live alcohol-free—and the shifts have been deeper than I ever imagined.

My energy has lifted.
My sleep is more restorative.
My skin feels clearer and more alive.
My thoughts feel sharper, my emotions more steady.
And perhaps most importantly, I’ve built a deeper trust in myself—my ability to cope, to process, to move through life with more calm presence.

After walking through illness and rebuilding my wellness from the inside out, I know just how essential clarity, rest, and self-connection truly are. Choosing to let go of alcohol was a big part of that. It wasn’t about restriction—it was about choosing what I wanted more of.

Over the past year, I’ve also had the privilege of consulting at an addictions clinic as an embodiment and movement specialist—supporting individuals in cultivating tools to lean into instead of self-medicating. In this work, I integrate aspects of yoga, mindfulness, and pranayama to help people reconnect to their bodies, calm their nervous systems, and access more peace from within.

If you’re navigating a similar path—whether it’s cutting back, breaking habits, or simply longing to feel more clear, more grounded, more you—I want you to know that I see you. I’ve been there. And I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.

Whether you’re looking to reduce alcohol, shift a pattern that doesn’t serve you, or reconnect to your body, your breath, your peace—I can support you in your wellness journey.

Reach out if you need a guide, a cheerleader, or a safe space to begin.

With warmth and steady breath,
Claire 🤍
