A MESSAGE TO EVERYONE VISITING A NEW MOM:

🚫 Don’t expect to be entertained.
🚫 Don’t stay for hours unless invited.
🚫 Don’t wake the baby.
🚫 Don’t take it personally if plans change.

✅ Offer help, not opinions.
✅ Bring food, coffee, or simply understanding.
✅ Respect feeding schedules and nap time.
✅ Ask the parents what they need.
✅ Remember that mom is recovering, too.

A new mom doesn’t need perfect visitors.

She needs people who understand that she’s healing, adjusting, running on little sleep, and learning a whole new version of herself.

The greatest gift you can give a family with a new baby isn’t advice or expectations.

It’s grace.

Because loving a baby also means loving the parents who are doing everything they can to care for that baby. ❤️👶

And if respecting a new mom’s needs feels inconvenient to you, imagine how inconvenient it is for her to recover, function on broken sleep, and keep a tiny human alive. ❤️

This season is short. Compassion goes a long way.
