Summary:
Grass concentrations were moderate in Kimberley, while trees and w**ds were high in Durban.

๐ Cape Town
Tree, grass and w**d pollen levels were low. Trees included gum, palm, pine, oak and Natal plum. Weeds included the daisy family, h**p and bulrush. Mould levels were low.
๐ Johannesburg
All pollen concentrations were low. Trees included mulberry and gum. Weeds included sedges and slangbos. Mould levels were low.
๐ Pretoria
Pollen levels across all categories were low. Trees might include waxberry, mulberry, cypress, ash, peppertree and Cape holly. Weeds are likely to include ragw**d, plantain, goosefoot, the daisy family and slangbos. Fern spores were present.
๐ Bloemfontein
Pollen levels were low across all categories. Trees included birch, false olive, hackberry, olive, poplar and oak. Weeds included goosefoot, sedges, plantain and lily. Fern spores were present and mould levels were low.
๐ Kimberley
Grass pollen was moderate. Tree pollen was low and included birch, bushwillow, waxberry, gum, poplar, olive and ash. Weeds included the daisy family, goosefoot and gentians. Mould levels were low.
๐ Durban
Tree pollen levels were high, and w**d pollen was also high. Trees included maple, palm, birch, Australian pine, bushwillow, gum, cypress, ebony, chestnut, olive, poplar, oak, karee and elm. Weeds included ice plants, mugwort, ragw**d, the daisy family, sedges, lily, mallows, plantain, protea, reeds and nettles. Mould levels were moderate.

Tree, grass and w**d pollen levels were low. Trees included gum, olive and karee. Weeds included pigw**d, spurges, sedges and slangbos. Mould levels were low.
๐ George
Tree, grass and w**d pollen levels were low. Trees included elm, birch and karee. Weeds included sedges, erica, plantain, ragw**d and ferns. Mould levels were low.
๐ These findings are repeated from the same period in 2025, as the spore trap is not currently operating.
