MEC for Health and Wellness, Faith Mazibuko will officially unveil additional mobile clinics to expand access to quality healthcare services across Gauteng. These mobile units will strengthen primary healthcare delivery in townships, informal settlements, hostels and farming communities, ensuring residents receive essential services closer to where they live.

Give girls lifelong protection against cervical cancer with the one-shot HPV vaccine. Parents, guardians and caregivers are encouraged to support the 2026 Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Single-Dose Vaccination Campaign by signing and returning consent forms. Running from 03 August to 09 October 2026, the campaign aims to protect eligible girls against cervical cancer through vaccinations provided at independent primary and combined schools, outstanding public primary schools, and special schools across Gauteng.

She encourages people to continue using condoms because Len Jab only prevents HIV and does not protect against sexually transmitted infections (STIs) or unplanned pregnancies.

Young people are taking charge of their health at the Teenage Pregnancy Awareness Campaign and the launch of the Lenacapavir HIV prevention injection at Tsakane Stadium in Ekurhuleni.

Through the event, young people are accessing youth friendly health services, health screenings, reproductive health information, HIV prevention services and the Lenacapavir HIV prevention injection.
