In the spirit of Mandela Day, The Hearing & Tinnitus Studio returned to Riversands Primary School in Diepsloot to screen every Grade 0’s hearing.

Good hearing plays an important role in a child’s learning, communication, development and confidence. By identifying possible hearing difficulties early, children can receive the support they need to participate more fully in the classroom and beyond.

One special moment was Henry Thage’s story. Fitted with pro bono hearing aids by the Hearing & Tinnitus Studio throughout his childhood. Henry completed school with flying colours, earned his bachelor’s degree and now joined the team in giving back, supporting the mission to make every sound count. 💛

It was a privilege to spend the day with these wonderful children and contribute 67 minutes towards making a meaningful difference. Each child also received a special treat to take home. ✨
