19 Years of InVision Coaching: Come See Your "Self"

Nineteen years ago today, I took a leap of faith and started InVision Coaching.
I launched with a simple, profound strapline that became my north star: Come See Your "Self."

For nearly two decades, that has been my open invitation. I’ve had the immense privilege of holding up a mirror for individuals, teams, and leaders from all walks of life, helping them peel back the layers, strip away the noise, and truly see the brilliance of who they are and what they are capable of.

Coaching isn't just about strategy or metrics; it’s about deep, transformative self-discovery.

To celebrate this milestone, I’m sharing a piece of my own "Self." These are my Top 5 CliftonStrengths, the unique lenses through which I see the world, guide my clients, and build impact every single day.

To every client, partner, colleague, and supporter who has been part of this 19-year journey: Thank you! Thank you for trusting me with your growth, your vulnerability, and your visions for the future.

The fire and I became one...

​I spent my New Year’s Eve as a Fire Keeper for a Native American purification sweat lodge. I didn’t enter the "womb space" of the lodge this time, instead, I sat with the fire. I tended to the stones.
​I am always amazed at how quickly I forget my absolute connection to fire. I couldn’t take my eyes off it. I looked at the fire the way you look at a lover, or the most beautiful sunset you’ve ever seen. In a moment of pure alchemy, the separation disappeared: I was the fire, and the fire was me.

​I wondered: What would change if I looked at myself with that same adoration?

​My intention for the night was for it to be effortless. In the past, I’ve struggled; doubting the heat, fighting the rocks, doubting my strength. This time, I chose to dance. I chose for it to surprise and delight me. I chose effortlessness I turned the labor into a devotion for everyone inside the lodge.

​My word for 2026 is AUDACITY. The audacity to claim the very best that life and love have to offer.

​My stand for you this year:
As a coach, I hold the vision of for every person that finds me this year, having the audacity to claim the life you want, regardless of your circumstances, regardless of whether you feel "deserving," and regardless of who disagrees with you if it is appropriate or not.

​I will hold that vision with you until it becomes your reality.

Loved facilitating an InVisioning Workshop for a client today. Started with a beautiful cacao ceremony to make sure we create from our heart space and not from the mind space telling us what we should or have to do. Followed by being creative and allowing our creativity to emphasize the feelings we want to feel more of going forward. Amazing to see what happens when we go from mind to heart and then back to the mind!

I forgot my phone at home today when I popped out to the shops. Decided to have a coffee and took my journal out to reflect on a few things. It was lovely! Without the constant distraction and addictive compulsive behaviour to check my phone every ten minutes, I actually processed a lot through the writing.

So much so that a lady sitting opposite me reading her book, commented that it is so nice to see people still writing instead of just being on their phone. It led to a long conversation about who we are and we're and still want to be. Utterly delightful for my soul.

I also noticed a different stream of consciousness happening that I haven't been able to tap into in a while. One where possibilities opened up again and I could actually use the writing to think instead of reacting to social media!

Monday, in 3 weeks, I'm leaving for my trip to Portugal. I am committed to doing morning pages daily as suggested by Julia Cameron in The Artist's way. I'm always more effective if I can Activate others to join me. So let me know if you would like to take this on with me. 🤍

Coaches do the work too. And I'm quite picky and specific about who I ask to hold space for me. I'm so grateful though, to felt the call to work with .me_lelanie with her program: Ignite your inner soul spark. It was just the thing I was looking for as I've struggled a bit with connecting to my own inner spark again after huge growth spurts and much learning the last couple of years.

We embarked on a 6 session journey that brought so much insight, delight, tears, anger and all the emotions in between. It activated me to do something I've been "moaning" about doing the last year and have opened up possibilities of how I would like to birth more of my work into the world in the coming year. I could not have done this without the skilful kind guidance and beautiful container that Lelanie created. It was also such a privilege and gift to myself to attend the sessions in person.

Thank you for your love, support, beautiful unique medicine and enormous generosity of spirit! I loved every minute!!
