Hi everyone....just wanted to give an update as to why I've been so quiet. As most of you know I've battled with a broken arm and ill health all year. Sadly I've had to stop practicing now 😢. Ilona is continuing her wonderful practice so please stay in contact with her. Missing all my mommies and babies but glad to know you're all in great hands!!

Two hours after birth. Baby has nursed and the whole family has settled in. The midwife takes a quick snapshot before we cut the cord and check and weigh baby. When is an ideal time to cut the cord? When the cord has stopped pulsating your baby will get all her necessary blood and stem cells from her placenta. Find a midwife or doctor who understands the importance of Delayed Cord Clamping to your baby's health
