The Healthcare Workers Care Network is proud to present a training webinar series on the Mental Health of Healthcare Workers. This is free and open to all, including health professionals, leaders of health professionals or organisations, members of the public and media who would like learn more about the mental health concerns of healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please share with those who may be interested. In the first session on Tuesday 4th August at 7pm, Psychiatrists Dr Antoinette Miric, Prof Rita Thom and clinical psychologist Judith Ancer will discuss this important topic looking at research and how it extrapolates to the South African context, the importance of understanding the stress resilience curve and how healthcare workers and employers can start to understand appropriate responses to the emotional strains experienced.
