Our Campaign Call has officially closed.

We are absolutely blown away by the response from our community. Thank you to every single person who took the time to apply, share your story, and put yourself forward to be part of the next Pride of Africa campaign.

Your authenticity, courage and willingness to represent our community mean more than words can express.

Our team will now begin reviewing all applications. As much as we'd love to include everyone, we unfortunately have limited spaces available. Every application will be carefully considered, and shortlisted applicants will be contacted directly over the weekend.

You don't need to be a model. You just need to be you.

Pride of Africa is looking for LGBTQIA+ individuals from across Johannesburg to become the faces of our next campaign.

We're looking for real people who represent the incredible diversity of our community: every race, gender identity, sexual orientation, body type, age (18+), and lived experience.

Whether you're loud or quiet, masc or femme, trans, non-binary, le***an, gay, bi, q***r, pan, ace, or anywhere in between, we want to celebrate you.

✨ Applicants must:
🏳️‍🌈 Identify as LGBTQIA+
📍 Reside in Johannesburg
🔞 Be 18 years or older
📸 No modelling experience required

While much of the world celebrates Pride in June, our story unfolds in October.

For us, Pride is more than a single day or parade. It is a month of conversations, creativity, advocacy, celebration, remembrance and community. It is a chance to amplify African LGBTQIA+ voices, create safe spaces, and remind one another that we belong.
